Better than a chair/ottoman in that it takes up little space when upright. I wish it would sit up straighter when upright, and wish the foot would operate separately - hadn't thought of those things when I tried it out in the store. But a very comfortable chair and I tend to fall asleep in it so I've not seen the late evening news for a few days (not a bad thing).

The chair arrived on time and is very comfortable. The “Hi Legs” also make the chair much easier to get out of, which is nice. The custom fabric I chose is lovely, but one concern is that the chair didn’t come with arm rest slip covers of any sort. I admit this is the first easy chair I’ve purchased in over 15 years and maybe providing matching fabric slipcovers for the arm rests is no longer “done,” but I do worry about how I’ll clean the arm rests as they inevitably get dirty from normal useage. Other than that I expect to enjoy the purchase. I do think the $99 delivery fee for a local merchant was quite steep.
I love the chair but I wish I hadn’t bought a power recliner. I would be happier with the manual recline.
