Regarding a New Mattress...

"Deciding on a new mattress was a big deal for me, after 20 + years. When I cam to look at them, Chris (Schneiderman's Duluth Showroom) did a nice job of giving me information and letting me try out the mattresses without hovering. When I came back after looking at other places, the woman who helped get it finalized was also very helpful. I knew I wouldn't be home on the delivery day and would have to let my landlady downstairs handle letting them in. Cindy in Delivery Scheduling took all the numbers and they called the landlords within a few minutes of when they said they would come. My landlady said the guys who came for the delivery (Steve & Joe K.) were very efficient, handled everything well and were in and out in not much time. Best of all, after almost a week now, I really like the new mattress and I'm pleased with the purchase. I will happily come to Schneiderman's again. Thanks again to the whole team."

On our Personal Shopper...

"Our customer KM, filled out the Personal Shopper form on our website. Her request was sent to my store manager Jason, on Monday and he passed it along to me that day. I called KM the same day and set up a time to meet at her home to further discuss her vision and to see the space. I visited her home on Wednesday and got more ideas of what she was looking for and an idea of her tastes and preference. I went back and worked up a room design for her to have ready for her visit to the store the next day. I designed an entirely new family room to blend in with the accessories she already owned. She took one look at what I had put together and said she loved it and would take everything, including the pictures and lamps I had chosen. We delivered the items to her on that Saturday! When we walked up to her door she said "I love everything!" We dressed her room with the pictures and lamps and left a very happy client."

"I needed to write of my very satisfying experience at the Lakeville Schneiderman’s.  I had been searching for months for a non-oversized sofa and an armchair.  I had been to Schneiderman’s before, as well as every other furniture store I could think of in my local area. I was pretty much resigned to the fact that there was no longer any furniture being made for an average-sized family room when I decided to try Schneiderman’s again.  I asked at the front desk to speak with someone and was sent to Ron K.  I can’t say enough good things about Ron’s help that led to my purchase.  He spent a lot of time with me on fabric selection, and listened to my tastes and preferences.  His design opinion was right on, and I am very satisfied with the result!  I would definitely go back to Schneiderman’s in a heartbeat and ask for Ron when I need my next piece of furniture!

Your salesperson, Alan B., is the reason I purchased the latex bed and pillows at Schneiderman's. I thought Tempurpedic was the only place to buy a memory foam mattress and I had never heard of a latex mattress. It took one phone conversation with Alan and I was on my way to Meadowlands. I tried the memory foam mattress and it was great. Then I tried the latex mattress and I couldn't believe how wonderful a bed could be. It was an out of body experience and the only thing I wanted to know was when I could have it delivered!

I have Fibromyalgia and Alan knew so much about it and what type of bed would be best for me. His knowledge was not limited to my disease; he seemed to know which mattress would be best for other sleep problems as well.

The latex mattress was more costly than the other types of mattresses, but as Alan suggested, I am happy that I spent the extra money to get what I need. I am sleeping better and missed my new latex mattress while on vacation recently.

We hadn't been to Schneiderman's for some time, so after we made the decision on the mattress, Alan gave us a brief tour of the store. He had answers for all of our questions and was obviously educated on the merchandise. We learned some helpful furniture information. Alan is artistic and creative and loves his job. It is obvious he doesn't just put in eight hours and go home. He studies and works at being informed on all of your available products.

The two young men who delivered and set up the bed were great. They were polite, friendly, and professional. They were also careful not to bump the walls or furniture as they moved the mattress in. They introduced themselves but I am embarrassed to tell you I can't remember their names. I hope you can find them in your records so they get the recognition they deserve. I got a phone call to make arrangements for delivery and they were here right on time, just like they said they would be. I told them they each earned a gold start.

All in all this was a great experience in every way and we will definitely look to Schneiderman's for further needs. Please extend our thanks to everyone involved, especially Alan, because without him we wouldn't have gotten the latex mattress, which we love."

I have been working with one of your sales people, Molly Kennealy-Crumley at your Woodbury location for many years.  In fact, we have bought at least three living/family room groupings along with chairs and barstools for my kitchen.  I feel very confident when buying from Molly because she is so helpful and knowledgeable on your different products.

This past weekend we purchased a leather sectional, an upholstered chair and ottoman, and tables for our family room.  I had a plan when I came in but as I tried different styles I had to change my plan and she was able to help me come up with a great solution for the space I have available. 

I really appreciate having that wonderful customer service because so many sales people just want to make a sale and don't care what people really want.  She is a great asset for your company!

Wild Web Days

During the month of August we held Wild Web Days. This event consisted of a variety of promotions and contests to celebrate the grand opening of our website. In our first week, Ian and Margery from FM107 hosted their show from our Plymouth showroom as we auctioned off $10,000 of furniture to raise support for The Ronald McDonald House. In conjuction with FM107's "Bids 4 Kids" radio-a-thon we helped generate an incredible $28,455 for the Ronald McDonald House!

In addition to the Ronald McDonald House fundraiser, we gave away furniture gift cards, offered special discounts and distributed free gifts for our preferred email customers all month. In an exciting move, we created a scavenger hunt on our website and seven lucky winners received free furniture from Schneiderman's.
